Welcome to AOD Village
The purpose for creating Art of Depression (AOD) is to address the disparities of mental health within communities of people of color. As an African American man raised in urban society, my experiences within my own community warranted an outlet for positive communication and feedback when dealing with today’s social constructs. AOD Village serves as a sanctuary for healing, self-expression, and open dialogue. Our ultimate goal is to empower individuals to rediscover their purpose and authenticity, challenge the stigmas surrounding mental health, and break the cycle of generational burdens.
