Welcome to AOD Village
The purpose for creating Art of Depression (AOD) is to address the disparities of mental health within communities of people of color. As an African American man raised in urban society, my experiences within my own community warranted an outlet for positive communication and feedback when dealing with today’s social constructs. AOD Village was developed to provide a place for healing, a place for self-expression and open dialogue. AOD’s objective is helping to realign oneself with purpose and truth, fight the stigma of mental health and aid in correcting generational curses.
